About MyResource

MyResource is an AI-powered virtual assistant that leverages the latest generative AI technology to help students navigate and succeed in college – connecting students with the community and resources that make Penn State a top university.

Built by students, for students

In 2022, student leaders proposed an idea for an AI-powered resource hub to help students navigate the complex landscape at Penn State. They realized that resources already existed but were often hard to find, especially for students who were new to the college landscape.

With the support of Dr. Bendapudi, that pitch became the nexus of MyResource, a generative AI-powered tool that leverages the best technology to help all students navigate Penn State. MyResource is the ultimate wayfinding tool, allowing students to feel confident in connecting with resources, seeking support and overcoming challenges.
